Prior to pupillage, Michael practised as an experienced litigation attorney with a Seattle law firm, appearing regularly in various state and federal trial and appellate courts on a high volume of contested matters. He is counsel of record in a significant number of published appellate court opinions, including by the Supreme Court of Washington.
His practice focused on creditor’s rights, real property litigation, commercial litigation and insolvency matters, representing clients from large institutional creditors to individuals.
Michael was called to the Bar at Lincoln’s Inn, and is admitted to practice in the State of Washington, US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, US District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington, and US Bankruptcy Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington.
